Abraham Martín obtained his degree in Cellular Biology and Genetics at the University Automona of Barcelona (UAB) in 2001. Afterwards, he was a visiting scholar at Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with Prof. Jorge Barrio and Johannes Czernin. Between 2002 and 2007 he worked on his PhD thesis at Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas de Barcelona (IIBB-CSIC) under the supervision of Anna Planas. In 2007, he worked as visiting researcher at Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser-FORTH (Crete, Greece) in Jorge Ripoll’s group. Between 2008 and 2010, he has worked as post doctoral researcher at Institut d’imagerie biomédicale-CEA (Orsay, France) in the group of Prof. Bertrand Tavitian. He joined the institute in June 2010.
