Vanessa Gómez-Vallejo got her degree in Organic Chemistry at Ramon Llull University (Barcelona) in 2005 and her degree in Chemical Engineering (Synthesis and validation of radiotracers labelled with 123I and 11C. Application in Diagnostic Imaging) at Institut Químic de Sarrià (Barcelona). Between 2005 and 2010 she worked on her PhD Thesis (Development of New Strategies for the Synthesis of Radiotracers Labeled with Short-Lived Isotopes: Application to 11C and 13N) at CRC-CIM (Barcelona) and CIC biomaGUNE (San Sebastian) under the supervision of Dr. Jordi Llop Roig and Dr. José Ignacio Borrell Bilbao, getting a PhD in Chemistry at Ramon Llull University in 2010. Between 2005 and 2007 she worked as Quality Control Manager of the Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory at CRC-CIM. Since October 2007, she is the Platform Manager of Radiochemistry at CIC biomaGUNE.
