The Glycotechnology lab at CIC biomaGUNE carries out projects in biomedical glycoscience with a current focus on the synthesis of inhibitors of the immune lectins Siglec-10 and DC-SIGN, vector and exosome glycoengineering for improved gene therapy, development of anticarbohydrate antibodies and vaccines for cancer treatment and diagnostics, and glycan and lectin microarray technology. The applicant, according to his / her previous background and interest, could participate in any of the above-mentioned research lines.
A PhD in a relevant area of Chemistry or related areas.
Experience in synthetic carbohydrate chemistry, mass spectrometry, liposome technology, and/or protein expression is highly desirable. Excellent English written and spoken. Excellent track record of research and publication.
Applicants should check eligibility and mobility conditions of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships, such as:
a) To be eligible should have a PhD at the time of the deadline for applications and must have a maximum of eight years’ experience in research.
b) Comply with mobility rules: Not have resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the Host for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
