We are pleased to announce that three researchers from CIC biomaGUNE have been recognized by the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships, a European Commission program that supports outstanding postdoctoral projects across disciplines and countries.
Gabriela Guedes Faria, PhD student at CIC biomaGUNE, has been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship to join the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge in the UK. Under the supervision of Professor Laura Itzhaki, her research will focus on the formation of biomolecular condensates involved in colorectal cancer.
In addition, Liliana Teixeira and Micaela Alejandra Macchione, both postdoctoral researchers at CIC biomaGUNE, have been awarded the MSCA Seal of Excellence. This distinction is granted to high-quality proposals that meet the rigorous evaluation standards of the MSCA program but could not be funded due to budget constraints. It highlights the scientific excellence and competitiveness of their proposed projects on a European level.
We warmly congratulate Gabriela, Liliana, and Micaela for their outstanding achievements and wish them continued success in their scientific careers.
