The three-day event covered fundamentals, state-of-the-art technological aspects and the most recent advances in the broad field of preclinical and clinical molecular imaging. Keynote lectures were complemented with poster sessions and flash presentations to promote fruitful interactions between world leaders and young emerging scientists. Importantly, coffee breaks and social events enabled informal discussions between invited speakers and all participants in a friendly environment in the beautiful city of San Sebastian. The event attracted over 102 researchers from different countries including Portugal, Holland, Germany, Hungary, France, Italy, UK, USA and Spain.
