The "Self assembly and Hierarchical Materials in biomedicine: Drug Delivery, Tissue Engineering, Sensing and Safety Issues" conference aims to bring a comprehensive view in the field of hybrid materials in biomedicine. The conference will adress the design of hierarchical and self assembled materials and their application in drug delivery, sensing and tissue engineering covering from the material science aspects to clinical perspectives.

This 2.5 day symposium provided a forum for scientists from chemistry, immunology and glycobiology to discuss recent advances in our understanding and the opportunities for shaping glycan mediated immune responses.

The 13th European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM 2018) took place in San Sebastián from the 20th until 23rd of March 2018 with the support from CIC biomaGUNE researchers acting as local organizing committee.

The 2nd young Spanish ESMI Group Meeting (ySMIN2018) took place in Madrid on the 26th of February 2018.
